Glee Project winner, Damian McGinty, will soon begin his 7-episode arc on season 3 of Glee. Starting on episode 4 (directed by our favorite So You Think You Can Dance judge Adam Shankman), Damian will play Irish exchange student Rory Flanagan who lives with Brittany's family. According to Damian, “Rory is living with Brittany, who thinks he is her own personal leprechaun only she can see," -- should make for some classic Brittany lines!
While at McKinley, Damian's character will be stepping on some toes – particularly Kurt and Santana's. Rory's first song has a little falsetto in it, and Chris Colfer says, "Kurt did not like that because Kurt's the soprano of the group and doesn't want that taken from him." Rory will also develop a romantic interest in Brittany, resulting in some jealousy from Santana who is still secretly in love with her.
McGinty's first episode will air November 1. Another Glee Project winner, Samuel Larson, will be featured in a 7-episode arc as well this season. Other top finalists from the show, Lindsay Pearce and Alex Newell, will each get a two-episode spot.
