Death will come to McKinley high as the Glee kids head to Nationals in New York City. In "The Funeral," which will air on May 17, it is rumored that someone who has a significant impact (not a bird or other beloved show-choir mascot) will leave the show.
There's, of course, plenty of speculation, but it doesn't appear any of the Gleeks will sing their swan song. "The Funeral" could be a way to get rid of one of the series' many guest stars, including Charice (Sunshine Corazon), Jonathan Groff (Jesse St. James) or Kristen Chenoweth (April Rhodes).
One thing's for sure, the death is expected to be an emotional one. This leads me to believe it will be a small, but meaningful character, like Sue Sylvester's handicapped sister, Jean.
My hope is that Gwyneth Paltrow's character, Holly Holiday, kicks the bucket and puts me out of my misery.
