'Vampire Diaries' Spoilers!

This Thursday will be the last new Vampire Diaries episode until the New Year, but we have some interesting info on what's to come both this week and for the remainder of the season.

For those who've seen the extended promo (below) of tomorrow night's episode, you know there will be one hot and steamy sex scene between Katherine and Stefan (gasp!) - and Nina Dobrev has confirmed that. “First, Jeremy getting trapped in the tomb was like, Katherine wins! When Stefan came in, she’s like, ‘Wow, I couldn’t have planned this better if I tried. The one person I want to be stuck with, here he is, and now he’s got nowhere to go. I will seduce him, I will tease him, I will anger him.’ The line between love and hate truly is very, very thin,” Dobrev says. “So she has a chance to egg him on, and he can’t do anything about it. He has no choice but to listen, and yeah, it is a very kind of sexy, manipulative scene, and he gives in. It’s pretty crazy.”

The last episode left us questioning whose side Elijah (Daniel Gillies) was really on. According to Dobrev, “Elijah makes an unexpected appearance with an offer that could change everything.” What may make matters even more challenging and chaotic is the return of Elena's father, John Gilbert (David Anders), in the thirteenth episode who'll have information on how to kill Elijah.

As previously mentioned, Michaela McManus (One Tree Hill, Law & Order: SVU) will guest star on this Thursday's episode "By the Light of the Moon" as Jules, a friend of Mason's from Florida who comes looking for her missing buddy. Additionally, new guest star Stephen Amell will be appearing on TVD this season as Brady, "an old friend of Mason Lockwood who blows into town with a vengeance. [He's a] loyal friend or your worst enemy depending on who you are. Did we mention he was hot?" says producers. Wonder what will happen when he and Tyler find out Damon killed his uncle. Sounds like grounds for a werewolf-vampire war if you ask me. Amell will appear in just two episodes this season.

Another new guest star will be stirring up some trouble as well. Making the move from True Blood to TVD, Dawn Oliveri (who played Alcide's sister) will come to Mystic Falls as a local newscaster named Andie Star.

Be sure to catch The Vampire Diaries Thursdays @ 8 p.m. on the CW, and don't miss their week-long marathon beginning December 13th!
