SYTYCD All-Stars: Where They've Been

While I am still not convinced So You Think You Can Dance’s new format of having the contestants dance with alums will work, there is not denying these all-stars will bring some excitement to the show.

Here’s what the 12 have been doing since they first competed on the show:

Allison Holker: Since appearing in Season 2, Allison has not only had a lucrative dance career, but also became a mom! In May 2008 Alison gave birth to baby girl Weslie. In the dance world Allison appeared in a top show called “Revolution” at the Joyce Theatre in New York. She also played a cheerleader in High School Musical and High School Musical 2 and toured with American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken. Most recently she performed in “Ballroom with a Twist,” which was choreographed by Louis Van Amstel.

Anya Garnis: Anya has been a friendly face to the SYTYCD stage since appearing on Season 3, choreographing several routines for the competition. She has also appeared on Dancing with the Stars and Superstars of Dance, and made her Broadway debut in "Burn the Floor." Anya’s credits also include the Emmy Awards, Academy Awards and the HBO series True Blood. Her hair is also a bit blonder these days.

Neil Haskell: Following placing in the top 3 in Season 3, Neil landed a role in MTV movie The American Mall. He also performed in the off-Broadway show "Altar Boyz" as look and made his Broadway debut in "9 to 5."

Pasha Kovalev: Pasha has appeared with his partner and fellow SYTYCD alum Anya on both Dancing with the Stars and Superstars of Dance and made his Broadway debut in Burn the Floor. He has also lent his talents to SYTYCD, choreographing several routines.

Dominic “D-Trix” Sandoval: Since Season 3, Dominic joined Quest Crew, with former contestants Hokuto "Hok" Konishi and Ryan Conferido. The b-boy group went on to win Season 3 of Best Dance Crew. Dominic also performs with Stepboyz Entertainment and Flexible Flav, teaching workshops around the world. He has also lent his voice to Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel and Freakdance

Stephen “Twitch” Boss: Season 4 Runner-up Twitch currently dances with Breed OCLA and Chill Factor Crew. He will appear in Step Up 3D this summer, and will also play a lead role in Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming. Twitch, along with his manager Nelson Diaz, have started a production company called environmental Industries. He will also be launching his own clothing line this fall.

Comfort Fedoke: Comfort most recently appeared in Glee and was featured in the Michael Jackson tribute tour. Comfort is also in the process of launching her music career, with the upcoming release of her first single. If the video below is any indication of this music career, maybe she should stick to dancing.

Courtney Galiano: Courtney has performed in music videos for Adam Lambert, Daddy Yankee and Kat Deluna, and has also danced in the Disney movie Camp Rock 2 and Hannah Montana movie Hoedown Throwdown. She was the voice of Jeannette in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squekquel. Most recently Courtney appeared in two episodes of Glee, including the finale.

Lauren Gottlieb: Lauren has been busy since she competed in Season 4. She has performed in Hannah Montana: The Movie, Bring It On: Fight to the Finish and Disaster Movie. Her TV credits include: appeared on Glee, Ghost Whisperer, Nip/Tuck, Teen Choice Awards, Carrie Underwood’s Holiday Special, as well as several national commercials. Lauren recently assisted Tabitha and Napoleon in the choreography for Cirque Du Soleil’s "Viva Elvis." She is hoping to launch a musical career and is working on a line of dance-inspired apparel.

Mark Kanemura: Mark has performed on America’s Got Talent, MTV Video Music Awards, Emmy Awards, Carrie Underwood’s: An All-Star Holiday Special and has appeared in several music videos and commercials. He is currently on tour with Lady Gaga.

Ade Obayomi: Ade performed on the 2010 Grammy Awards with Beyonce, and Rihanna’s “Hard” music video. He is also on tour with Alicia Keys.

Kathryn McCormick: The most recent SYTYCD alum, since last Season 6 Kathryn has taught master classes and performed on the 82nd Academy Awards.
